| We are looking for all the help we can get to make this year's Picnic With The Pups the biggest and best ever. Just a few of the areas we need helpers for are set-up (come early & help and then enjoy the picnic); retail, bake sale and food sales help; dog games; costume parade; walking "Available Dogs"; pooper-scoopers; nail & ear cleaning spa; ticket sellers & takers; raffle; clean-up (enjoy the picnic & then stay after) and lots of other jobs. Our Annual AAGI Picnic and Fundraiser will take place on Saturday, November 3, 2001 from 10 am until 2 pm. Phoenix Greyhound Park has generously agreed to let us hold it on their property again this year! Download Your Raffle Tickets!
The cost to enter the picnic will be $1.00 per person, and children under 12 are free. Proceeds from ALL events will go directly to AAGI to help with the many costs involved in running our busy program, including food, board and medical bills.

The fabulous Gilley Girls Dancing Greyhound Drill Team will perform again this year. For those of you who missed this wonderful show, you're in for a treat! Show time is 1pm and is free for everyone.
Come hungry, because we'll be grilling up hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs on the BBQ. Chips, drinks and other goodies will also be available.
Our gift shop will be open for business, with more new merchandise. The always popular Sandicast statues, plus a complete line of Terry Lerner bronzes and lots of pewter greyhounds are sure to include something for your house. We'll have new T-shirts, Polo Shirts, Tank Tops, Sweatshirts, and greyhound gifts galore for yourself or that special greyhound lover in your family. Plus the essentials like collars & toys.
Save a little room for dessert, or take some home for later. Our Bake Sale table will have gobs of goodies for both you and your greyhounds.
Stop by the always popular Nail Trimming/Ear Cleaning "Spa" for a quick pedicure for your greyhounds. Our expert nail trimmers will have your hounds looking beautiful in no time at all. Just $5.00 per greyhound!
Look for our Available Greyhounds throughout the day. They'll be wearing coats that say "I'm Available." You might just run into your new family addition!
Photographs with Santa! Peter Pagnotta from Camelback Photography will be back to take professional photographs of your greyhounds with Santa. Standard portraits of your pet will also be available. Those who had pictures taken last year were very pleased with Peter's work. He will again be photographing your pets at the picnic and mailing your photos to your home. These will be professionally developed and not digital photographs. There will be no sitting fee, and one 8"x10" or two 5"x7"'s will be $15.00 (tax included). Ten percent of all proceeds will be donated to Arizona Adopt A Greyhound. He will accept Visa, Mastercard or personal checks. Peter also donates 10% of his fee to AAGI if you book an appointment for a professional sitting at his Scottsdale Studio and mention where you saw him.

No Pain--NoFear Training Seminar by Kathleen Gilley. A special seminar on training your greyhound given by the trainer & handler of those wonderful Dancing Greyhounds. A great opportunity to pick up some wonderful training tips. Starts at 9:45 am so come early.
Will your greyhound Bob for Hot Dogs? It's just 50 cents a try and lots of fun for your hound. A great treat if they can catch one!
Raffle - $5.00 per ticket, $25.00 for six. A small price to pay for the chance to win a Lifesize Greyhound Sandicast Statue! See insert for ticket information, or visit the retail area at our picnic. The raffle will take place right after the Dancing Greyhound Drill Team show. You do not need to be present to win, but if you are you get to take your statue home with you! Runner up prizes will be given also.
The 3rd Annual Greyhound Costume Contest will take place at 11:30 am. The last 2 years have given us a look at just how creative greyhound "parents" can be!! What fun! We can't wait to see what shows up this year. Check in anytime between 10:00 - 11:15 am. Just look for the signs. Prizes include Dinner for Two at Phoenix Greyhound Park, a soft new fluffy bed, leashes and collars, and more.
The Phoenix Greyhound Park parking lot will be especially busy as Park N Swap will also be in progress. Enter the parking lot from 36th Street and look for the signs for AAGI Parking, which will be free.
Rain -- no problem -- we can move everything inside and still have a day of greyhound fun.
