Lure Coursing Coursing season runs from mid-October through mid-March.
Field trials may be held under both American Sighthound Field Association (ASFA) and American Kennel Club (AKC) rules. You need to be prepared to compete under either guidelines. National Greyhound Association (NGA) registered dogs can compete in ASFA field trials but not AKC trials. In order to compete under AKC rules you will need to acquire an AKC Indefinite Listing Privilege (ILP) number. Call AKC at 919-233-9767 or go to the AKC website for information on how to apply.
