Many of the drugs used to treat your greyhound for long term disease are the same as human medications and are available through regular pharmacies. Pharmacies that compound (make their own capsules) can offer better prices on many of the more expensive medications. It is always a good idea to call around because prices change regularly.

Remember to use the pharmacies you will need a prescription from your veterinarian. Because the drugs are made up in capsules you will need to have the correct dosage as you can't split them like you can some pill medications.
